Patricia A. Huffman

Patricia A Huffman, 84, of New Athens, Ohio, passed away on February 25, 2026, at Continuous Care in Wheeling. She was born July 8, 1941, in Charlotte, North Carolina to the late August C. and B. Alberta McKee.

Patricia worked for and retired from Wheeling Jesuit University. She was a member of the House of the Shepherd Church in New Athens. She was also a member of the Franklin Museum in New Athens and the New Athens Volunteer Fire Department’s Ladies Auxiliary.

She is preceded in death in addition to her parents, husband Richard A. Huffman a son Thomas L. Crane, Jr., brother Michael T. Denard, sister-in-law Peggy Denard and brothers-in-law Donald J. Ramsell and Ronald D. Huffman. 

She is survived by her daughters Tamara Crane of New Athens and Lisa (Dean) Frizzi of Bellaire; stepson Robert Huffman of Cadiz; and stepdaughter Angela (Joseph) Howiler Quaker City; a sister Barbara Ramsell of Homer City, PA; 5 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren , 7 great grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren , 2 nieces and 2 nephews; sisters-in-laws Carol A. Huffman and Donna (James) Runevitch. 

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Pete Tuchek and Pastor Jamie Price officiating at Clark-Kirkland-Barr Funeral Home in Cadiz. Burial will follow at Longview Cemetery in New Athens.
