Vehicle Submerged in Slope Creek Sunday Evening
Sunday evening, the Belmont County Sheriff’s Office Dive team was called to recover a vehicle from an accidental submersion near one of the two boat ramps at Slope Creek Reservoir.
According to the sheriff’s department post, a sergeant was notified by a Barnesville Police officer that the vehicle needed to be recovered. There were no injuries in the incident.
The vehicle was mostly submerged according to the report.
Special Deputy Jeff Patterson and Sgt. Michael Sabol responded with a successful recovery was achieved.
