Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library – Ohio
Did you know that parents and guardians of children up to the age of five may enroll them in a program to receive a free book by mail each month? Ohio has teamed up with country music legend Dolly Parton to make this service a reality.
Why is it important?
*Brain science shows that a child’s brain is already 80% developed by three years of age
*Through reading, children begin to learn words and sounds, recognize pictures, and understand emotions
