With the winter sports season past, in addition to preparing for the spring, several sport awards programs are on tap. Barnesville Area News will post award details as they are provided.
Barnesville wrestler Christien Hannahs earned his 100th career win earlier this month at the District Wrestling Tournament at Coshocton.
Freshman varsity wrestler Jaxon Aberegg was one of two selected by the Times Leader as Student Athletes of the Week. Aberegg was featured in the March 12 edition.
Three Shamrock varsity wrestlers have been selected for All-Conference OVAC Honors. They are Colt Carpenter, Hines Ford and Bentley Stephen.
