Friday, March 20
8:16 am – N. 26th Road, Bethesda. Caller reports that four truckloads of pallets were stolen overnight. Caller has video evidence. Report taken by deputy.
9:26 am – Hendrysburg-Freeport Road, Barnesville. 911 call. Open line. Busy on call back. Everything is okay although experiencing phone problems.
Saturday, March 21
9:31 am – Park Drive, Beallsville (Wayne Twp.). Caller reports she was contacted by a scammer pretending to be a deputy advising she missed jury duty. Caller wants the matter on record.
3:57 pm – Flatrock Road, Barnesville. Caller reports 2016 specialized motorcycle is missing from garage. No change of repo. Bike last seen in the garage in the fall of 2025.
10:53 pm – National Road, Morristown. Dispatch advised of a neighbor complaint of noise issues with neighbor who is now driving his vehicle around erratically and also is roaming outside while “whistling.” Caller states he wants it documented if something further occurs.
Sunday, March 22
12:26 pm – Lafferty Road, Lafferty. Alarm drop due to motion detection. All is secure.
4:01 pm – Crum Road, Beallsville. Caller is locked out of vehicle with a dog still inside. Deputy responded and unlocked the vehicle.
10:12 pm – Chestnut Level Road, Belmont. Alarm from side living room. Deputy responded. One light is on while no one answered the door. No vehicles at residence. Everything appears secure.
Monday, March 23
1:24 am – Belmont-Morristown Road, Morristown. Property crash reported on private property. Deputy responded.
9:38 am – South Main Street, Bethesda. Caller reports he was assaulted by owner of a nearby retail business. Statement taken, deputy headed to speak with the other half of the disagreement.
10:52 am – Brown Street, Belmont. Deputy out on follow up.
12:22 pm – National Road, Belmont. Deputy out on hang up. No structure at the address given.
4:35 pm – Tiber Road, Jacobsburg. Deputy on scene for an unoccupied vehicle on side of the road.
4:42 pm – South Sixteen Road, Barnesville (Somerset Twp.). Caller needs to schedule a time to pick up belongings per court order. Pick up will be scheduled on Tuesday.
5:52 pm – Belmont-Morristown Road, Morristown. Deputy out on follow up.
7:24 pm – I-70 East Bound, Mile Post 207. Ohio Patrol requested a sheriff’s office unit for a traffic stop OSHP was working on. A male with felony warrant is driving the vehicle. Suspect suddenly drove away from the scene heading west on I-70 at speeds exceeding 122 mph. Patrol terminated pursuit at the Belmont-Guernsey line.
Wednesday, March 25
11:32 am – Church Street, Bethesda. Deputies at location for a call about yelling from a neighbor’s house. No one is answering the door. Deputies watched video from neighbor’s camera. Nothing physical. Negative contact. Both parties later contacted by phone. Both admitted to verbal only argument over finances. All is well.
1:55 pm – Belmont-Morristown Road, Belmont, Love’s Plaza. Deputies checked on a truck parked for several days. Negative contact with anyone in truck. Business will handle having the vehicle removed from the property.
