Terrance William “Terry” Temple

Terrance William “Terry” Temple, 70, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at The Enclave at Barnesvile. He was born on March 9, 1956 in Barnesville, Ohio to the late William Franklin “Bud” and Elizabeth Grace “Betty” (Miller) Temple.

Terry was a 1974 graduate of Barnesville High School. He dedicated an impressive 48 years as a Manager at the feed mill, where he took great pleasure in assisting others in enhancing their farms and nurturing animals. He was a devoted husband to Julia for 45 wonderful years, and together they cherished their life on the farm, raising their children. The annual fair was a special occasion they always looked forward to, relishing in the shows and lending a helping hand. Terry found immense happiness in the presence of his grandchildren, sharing his passion for gardening and farming with them while passing down his wealth of knowledge. 

In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his brother, Harlen Temple; and his nephew, Clayton Temple.

Terry is survived by his wife, of almost 46 years, whom he married on April 12, 1980, Julia Temple; children, Matthew Temple, Mitchell Temple, and Kalee (Tim) Mishlan; grandchildren, Lander Temple, Liam Temple, and Lizzy , Oliver, and Blaise Mishlan; brothers, Kenneth (Debbie) Temple, Harvey (Carla) Temple; sister-in-law, Lorrie Temple; mother-in-law, Mary Ann Gallagher; brother-in-law, Bryan (Caryma) Gallagher, sisters-in-law, Treon (Delmas) Hashman, Erin (Danny) Palmer, and Callie (Larry Steed) Gallagher; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 3, 2026 from 4-7 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Dave Cornett officiating at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio. Burial will follow at Crestview Cemetery in Barnesville.
