Karen Elaine Gacek Wallace

Karen Elaine Gacek Wallace, 67, of Beallsville, Ohio, passed away on March 29, 2026, at Rolling Hills Care Center in Bridgeport, Ohio.

Born at Cherry Point, North Carolina on May 22, 1958, she was a daughter of the late George Richard Gacek Sr. and Eva Elane Gacek.

Karen was a retired employee of the Onwasa Water Treatment Facility. She had a deep love for horses, especially racing them, and found great joy in crafts and spending time on the farm.

She is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Antony Wallace; her two wonderful children, Val Wallace and Jody (Nick) Manzaneras; two cherished grandchildren, Layla and Erynn Manzaneras; two brothers, George R. “Zak” Gacek Jr. and Craig Gacek; her sister, Keeley Jo (Eric) Gacek Corrick; as well as many friends.

In honoring Karen’s wishes, no public visitation will be held. Private family services will take place at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville.
