Noble Corrections Warden Honored

Barnesville resident James “Jay” Forshey, warden at the Noble Correctional (NCI) Institution, for being named DRC’s 2024 Warden of the Year.

“It’s quite an honor, and I really see this award as a reflection of the hard work the staff at NCI do throughout the year,” said Warden Forshey. “I continue to be blessed by the good people I’m surrounded by each day, on every shift, and I’m grateful to all those who have mentored me over the years.”  Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction.  

The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction made the announcement on January 31.
