Ray Allen McEndree
Ray Allen McEndree, 81, of Bethesda, passed away peacefully in his home on April 5, 2026. He was born on November 14, 1944 in Belmont, Ohio to the late Ray Edward and Edna Mae (Gilmore) McEndree.
Ray was a retired heavy equipment operator for Falcon Coal Company. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He was the best storyteller down to the finest detail and a great jokester. Ray had a sweet tooth; he always had to have chocolate, and his favorite was the Reese’s Cup. He loved listening to music and enjoyed dancing. He was a Christian and a believer in Jesus Christ and a life long church attendee. Ray was an outdoorsman who liked to fish, hunt, and garden. He enjoyed feeding the birds and being with his favorite four-legged pal, Lady Bug.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Annie Gibbs; and one brother, Alfred Jay McEndree.
Left to cherish his memories are his beloved wife of 13 years, Darcy (House) McEndree; children, Daniel (Linda) McWilliams, Joel (Kathy) McEndree, Mary (Todd) Mitchell, Mandy (Mitch) Collinsworth, Rebecca (Fred) Lehmann, (Nisha (Zac) Orum, Todd (Kate) Crum; 21 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers Earnest Lee McEndree and Earnest Ray McEndree, plus a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Per Ray’s request, there will be no services. A grave side service for family and friends will take place in the Union Cemetery in Morristown at a later date. Wilson Funeral Home, Bethesda Chapel, 322 North Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio 43719 is honored to assist the family.
