Tanya Bernice Sells

Tanya Bernice Sells, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at The Enclave at Barnesville, Barnesville, Ohio from cancer.  Born December 5, 1963, a daughter of the late Charles and Martha Sells, Tanya was a member of the East Main Church of Christ in Barnesville.  She loved singing hymns, Bible study, and the fellowship of her Christian family.  She had an active prayer life.  Her faith helped her to cope with cancer and she trusted in God to continue her eternal life with Him. Tanya loved music, nature walks, traveling, and following current events so she could make informed decisions when voting.

Her passing has left a void within the church, community, and family. 

Tanya is survived by a brother, Abe (Kenna) Sells; sisters, Teresa (Jeff) Wyeth, Trina (Rick) McFee, and Tammy (John) Sroka; also many nieces and nephews. 

Friends and family are invited to Tanya’s graveside service Friday, April 17 at 2:00 pm at the Crestview Cemetery in Warren Township, Barnesville.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home – Harper Chapel, 52728 Ohio Avenue, Beallsville, Ohio 43716.

In lieu of flowers and keepsakes, memorial contributions may be made to East Main Church of Christ, Barnesville, 329 East South Street, Barnesville, Ohio   43713.
