Public Meeting/Public Notices

Barnesville Council Meeting.  The official village council minutes of the January 27 meeting are now available on the village website. The next meeting will take place on Monday, February 14 at 6:00. Please note the change of time to accommodate an executive session to interview prospective council members.   

The Barnesville Financial report for 2024 is complete and available for review at the Fiscal Officer’s office, 132 North Arch Street, during regular hours 8:00-4:00 Monday through Friday.  Contact Jeannie Hannahs at (740) 425-3444 to view the document.

The Somerset Township 2024 Annual Financial Report is complete and available for review at the office of the Fiscal Officer Diane Blattler.The report was published in the area daily newspaper on Wednesday, February 5 in advanace of the monthly trustees meeting that took place Saturday morning at the township building in Somerton.     

Warren Township Financial Report Available. The 2024 Warren Township financial reports are complete and available for public inspection.  To schedule an inspection, contact Fiscal Officer Kent Gallagher at (740) 391-8068.  The Warren Township Office/Garage is located at 400 Pultney Ave, Barnesville.

Bethesda Council Meeting Moved.  The February council meeting that normally takes place on he second Wednesday evening each month will move from February 12 to the following Wednesday, February 19.

Belmont Council Meeting Canceled.  The February meeting for the Belmont Village Council will not take place on Monday, February 10, due to lack of quorum”. The next meeting will take place on Monday, March 10th.
