Barnesville Green Bronco Team Continues Winning Ways
The Barnesville Green Bronco team improved its record to 3-0 with a win over the Union Local White team Monday evening by the lopsided score of 15-3.
Picking up the win was Green pitcher Colton Roe who logged 3 innings. He allowed 3 runs on 4 hits, struck out 6 and walked 5.
Austyn Weiss pitched a scoreless 4th with strike outs and Jase Hendershot closed the game with a scoreless 5th inning, setting down two on strikes and walking one.
Offensively the Shamrocks had 11 hits led by Brogan Shilling and Colton Roe with two hits each while fellow teammates Jaxson Humphrey, Kason Keiger, Hank Jefferis, Anthony Welch, Austyn Weiss, Gavin Smith and Braxton McCloud each had a hit.
For Union Local Niko Nardo, Trey Akers, Colton Berry, and Kyland Williams had hits.
The Shamrocks will travel to Clarington for a game against River on May 11. The game will begin at 6 pm.
