Senior Zoey Fritter cut the nets at Claymont Thursday night as the Shamrocks beat the hosts 66-20.
The Shamrock girls advance to play Tusky Valley Wednesday, February 19 at a yet to be determined site.
Varsity Bowling
For the first time, both Barnesville Teams move on to the District. This past week, the girls team came in 6th in Sectional play. Riverview claimed the first spot with 3211 pins to Barnesville’s 2892, a spread of 319 pins over six finishers.
The boys bowling team finished 4th at the sectional bowling tournament, also advancing to districts next week. There were 26 teams in the contest. Claymont came in first with 3952 pins, followed by Indian Valley, Maysville, and Barnesville with 3893 pints, a difference of 59.
