Barnesville Green Bronco Defeat Glen Dale Rebels
GLEN DALE — The Barnesville Green Bronco team remains undefeated after picking up a road win against the Glen Dale Rebels by the score of 12-2 Tuesday, May 26. The team now rests at 6-0.
Kason Keiger started the game and was the winning pitcher. He pitched four innings and gave up five hits and two runs. In the process, he struck out seven and walked three.
Hank Jefferis pitched three scoreless innings while giving up two hits with zero runs. Jefferis struck out two batters and allowed no walks.
Offensively, the Shamrocks had 10 total hits, led by Brogan Shilling with four hits. Colton Roe collected two hits. Jaxson Humphrey, Keiger, Jefferis and Anthony Welch each tallied one hit.
The Barnesville Green Bronco returns to action tonight (May 28) at home against Martins Ferry at 7:30 p.m.
