Monday, May 18, 2026

12:49 am – traffic stop on Shamrock Drive.

6:59 am – caller from Henderson Street reporting a speeding motorcycle’s extreme loud exhaust.  Caller wants to talk to the Police Chief.

8:48 am – report filed of a dog barking all day on Warren Avenue. It has been left outside all day.

8:53 am – caller complains about the trash cans being removed at the S16 boat ramp at Slope Creek Reservoir. Dispatcher stated the trash cans were removed because of the abuse by those depositing trash in it from their homes. Dispatcher recommended the person call the Belmont County Sheriff’s Department to file a litter complaint. Caller was extremely displeased by the response.

12:20 pm – possible disabled bike on Mulberry Street.

2:53 pm – traffic stop on West Church Street near the First Christian Church.

4:27 pm – caller from Lincoln Avenue reporting  a truck tearing AT&T cables from his house.

6:56 pm – 911 called regarding an anonymous caller requesting a welfare check at a Franklin Street address. Caller states that conditions in the home where children are present are deplorable.

8:38 pm -female caller states that she is on vacation and someone called her to report there is a pig in her South Street front yard.

8:58 pm – another female caller states that there is a pig loose on West South Street. The sale barn has been notified.

Tuesday, May 19, 2026

1:22 am – officer is out with juveniles. Juveniles were enroute home. Officer advised them of the curfew law.

4:01 am – traffic stop on Leatherwood. Warning issued for speed.

1:25 pm – caller reports her daughter is being videoed. Caller would like to talk to an officer.

5:15 pm – caller from West Leatherwood Pike reports a possibly intoxicated male. The male is walking about with a small child.

5:53 pm – investigating a complaint on Henderson Street.

6:27 pm – 911 advising a reckless driver on State Route 800 South.

6:43 pm – vehicle lockout on South Chestnut Street.

7:41 pm – traffic stop on South Lincoln Avenue. Passenger and driver released with a citation.

8:21 pm – traffic stop on Vine Street.

8:45 pm – caller states he received an email for the DEA that states he needs to confess to crimes that he did not commit.

8:55 pm – caller advises he is making a documentary, and he wishes to have a white female officer in Barnesville and Noble County. He wants the female officer to state that she is a racist and a murderer but not a rapist because she hates children.

9:08 pm – caller states that he has been elected the new leader of the cartel. He states that his new name is Lucifer Satan. He states he stole some caffeine pills from the gas station and the clerk became his girlfriend.

9:09 pm – caller reports people parking in a no parking zone on Park Street blocking his driveway.

9:33 pm – person from some previous logs tonight states he is a drug smuggler in Barnesville. He states he is a freelance police officer and got a call to become a paid hitman. He played the song cocaine for the dispatcher.

9:59 pm – call received about someone striking a deer. The call came from the hospital.

11:04 pm – alarm drop on Shamrock Drive. The front door was secured but the rear door was cracked open. Door secured.

11:25 pm – assisting the EMS squad on North Chestnut Street.

Wednesday, May 20, 2026

12:03 am – male on station speaking with an officer about a parking ticket.

1:54 am – special detail on West Main Street.

4:39 am – traffic stop on East Main Street.

7:33 am – traffic stop on County Road 122.

7:43 am – traffic stop on Shamrock Drive. Citation issued for speed.

9:16 am – traffic stop on Grace Avenue.

1:39 pm – two-vehicle accident on South Chestnut Street. EMS squad requested for a male.

1:56 pm – welfare check at a North Broadway Street residence. Officer had negative contact with the person, but the neighbors state they spoke with the person in the morning.

5:35 pm – welfare check on a person on Pine Lane. Person is okay and will be heading back to the group home on her own.

8:53 pm – female caller states that she is in the Netherlands and is concerning about her friend. She states her friend is not answering her texts. Dispatcher called the number  provided and it appears to be a non-working number.

Thursday, May 21, 2026

2:14 am – traffic stop on Franklin Street.

2:35 am – assisting the EMS squad on Mt. Olivett.

2:44 am – caller from South Lincoln Avenue reporting a male that walked out of the facility.

10:35 am – 911 alarm drop call. Dispatcher spoke with the owner and the alarm was accidently set off.

1:20 pm – officer on North Chestnut Street reporting three dogs running loose. Officer caught one dog but the other two remain loose.

1:57 pm – caller states he is thankful the police never arrested him. He would like to celebrate by smoking meth together. He also stated he gives out meth for free to white women.

1:58 pm – person on station to pick up her German Sheppherd dog.

4:24 pm – caller from the Barnesville Hospital reports a person there needs a car battery jump. Dispatcher responded that officers were unavailable at this time.

6:23 pm – female caller reports that the man living in the camper in her in-law’s yard may be urinating in the yard down by the woods line. She is concerned because her children must smell it. Dispatcher advised to call the Health Department to file a complaint.

8:46 pm – traffic stop on Euclid Avenue.

9:00 pm – caller stating he is not a demon or in a biker gang. He hates cars and people who drive cars. Caller became upset when the dispatcher responded they could not listen to his song. He stated that he hates the dispatcher and hung up.

9:29 pm – traffic stop on East Main Street.

Friday, May 22, 2026

3:51 am – traffic stop.

8:02 am – employee speaking inappropriately to the manager at an East Main Street business.

2:38 pm – caller from Jagger Road reports someone in a truck has been there most of the day.  Male was just sleeping, waiting out the rain.

7:32 pm – traffic stop on Vine Street.

9:38 pm – East Main Street manager states that there are two cars in the handicap parking spots. They will not leave. Vehicles left the parking lot before the officer arrived.

10:12 pm – vehicle lock out on West Main Street.

Saturday, May 23, 2026

3:19 am – traffic stop on North State Route 800 near the park.

2:19 pm – complaint of three males driving e-bikes near Wendy’s on East Main Street.

7:22 pm – serving citation on Henderson Street. Officer made contact.

7:29 pm – attempting to make contact with a person on East South Street. Officer had negative contact.

7:51 pm – female on station stating that her renter is in jail and someone else is living there. She wants to know how to get him to leave the house. Dispatcher advised that this is a civil matter and she needs to go through the court system.

8:39 pm – traffic stop on East Main Street near Bethesda Street. Citation issued for speed.

9:30 pm – traffic stop on State Route 147. Citation issued for expired plates.

10:24 pm – traffic stop on North Arch Street.

10:41 pm – traffic stop on North Broadway Street. Warning issued for no headlights.

11:23 pm – traffic stop on East Main Street.

Sunday, May 24, 2026

12:50 am – traffic stop on East Main Street near the library.

1:43 am – traffic stop on Bond Avenue.

3:10 am – officer out at Barnesville Hospital for a special detail.

9:31 am – The Ohio State Highway Patrol advising a BOLO (be on the lookout) for a red Nissan and a red Mustang heading north on State Route 148. Vehicles are passing each other across double yellow lines.

9:06 pm – female caller stating that there a dirt bike traveling too fast on Euclid Avenue.

10:29 pm – caller stating that his brother is in jail and his brother’s girlfriend is sending threatening texts to him. The texts are about his brother’s situation. The caller wants a log made about this situation.

11:44 pm – traffic stop on Bethesda Street extension. Driver cleared of field sobriety test.
