Shamrock Varsity Girls’ Track Team Awards
The Barnesville Shamrock Varsity Girls’ Track Team celebrated its season with an awards program. Head Coach Ryan Grear shared their many accomplishments.
The girls’ track team placed as runner-up at the Division 3A Ohio Valley Athletic Conference (OVAC) meet. The team also had four girls compete at the regional meet: Ladyn Hines, 5th place in pole vault; Lydia Welch, 7th in shot put; Kali Jones, 6th in long jump and Macy Palmer, in shot put. Ladyn Hines went on to compete in the pole vault at State, placing 17th.
Coach Grear also shared the names added to the Top 10 all-time Barnesville performances of the 2026 season.
