Barnesville Green Bronco Defeats Moundsville Misfits, Are Now 9-0
BARNESVILLE — The Barnesville Green Bronco team continued its streak of dominance with a 10-3 road win against the Moundsville Misfits, Tuesday, June 2. They are now 9-0 this season.
Barnesville trailed 3-0 until they took the lead in the top of the fourth inning, making the score 4-3 over Moundsville. After that, they never looked back.
Brogan Shilling got the win in relief coming into the game in the third inning. The right hander threw five scoreless innings with 12 strikeouts and one walk.
Offensively, the Shamrocks had 11 hits, led by Jaxson Humphrey, Colton Roe, Braxton McCloud and Jase Hendershot with two hits each. Brogan Shilling, Kason Keiger and Austyn Weiss each had a hit.
