Monday, May 25, 2026

12:16 am – traffic stop on West South Street and Gardner Street. Warning issued for marked lane violation.

1:23 am – traffic stop on Morgantown Avenue. Warning issued for speed.

2:10 am – officer on walk through on West Main Street.

3:34 am – traffic stop on East Main Street.

3:48 am – traffic stop in Tacoma.

4:00 am – traffic stop on Bond Avenue.

5:32 am – traffic stop on Main Street. Warning issued for speed.

7:59 am – traffic stop on Main Street.

8:03 am – stolen vehicle entry for the Barnesville Police Department.

8:04 am – traffic stop on West South Street and Gardner Street.

8:06 am – traffic stop on Bond Avenue.

8:15 am – stolen vehicle on West Walnut Street. Individual states it was in place around 10 pm. Keys were in the vehicle.

10:05 am – caller states that the stolen vehicle was seen on a  “flock camera” traveling northbound at Aetnaville (Bridgeport) on State Route 7 at 4:00 am.

12:59 pm – caller reports a male is wearing body armor at the location. Caller would like the building inspected.

2:42 pm – vehicle lockout on East Main Street.

5:14 pm – traffic stop on South Gardner Street.

5:37 pm – officer on Wiley Avenue regarding a dog lying on the side of the road. Officer has dog in the cruiser.

5:57 pm – investigate complaint on South Chestnut Street.

9:14 pm – traffic stop on Route 147.

10:30 pm – a vehicle pulled up outside of the police station. Female and male exited the car. Male removed a case of alcohol from the car. Both got back into the car and drove away. Officer made contact with the two prople.

11:45 pm – investigating a complaint on Hutchinson Avenue.

Tuesday, May 26, 2026

6:05 am – traffic stop on East Main Street.

6:11 am – traffic stop on State Route 147 East.

7:20 am – foreman of the construction crew on Mulberry Street reports vandalism occurred overnight.

10:27 am – male on station to speak with an officer.

11:00 am – caller reports a male ditched a white SUV on Hillcrest and is walking up Hillcrest Road. Foot pursuit.

12:24 pm – traffic stop on East Main Street. Truck is parked in the construction zone. An elderly female is walking in and out of the street. Officer reported that the truck is moved but had negative contact with the female.

2:46 pm – caller advised that two people walked away from a local treatment facility.

7:25 pm – vehicle lockout on Bond Avenue.

Wednesday, May 27, 2026

1:21 am – audible alarm drop is reported. Officer doesn’t hear any alarms.

4:07 am – suspicious vehicle is reported at Memorial Park. Vehicle is a blue van and a gray sedan.

5:08 am – traffic stop on North Chestnut Street.

8:47 am – traffic stop on Main Street.

10:58 am – in town property owner informs police officer the person sought (suspect) moved to Parkersburg, West Virginia.

11:26 am – follow up on East Main Street regarding a theft.

1:32 pm – report of a truck heading into Barnesville driving all over the road. Officer followed the truck through town and reported that the person’s driving was fine.

2:46 pm – caller wants a person removed from her property. Dispatcher advised the situation needs filed in civil court for an eviction.

4:00 pm – traffic stop on East South Street.

5:18 pm – male caller states his ex-fiancé is going through a divorce with her current husband. Caller states he and the  ex-fiancé are back together but reports the current husband is becoming increasingly verbally violent. He would like to talk to an officer about the situation.

8:14 pm – 911 called and states that officers are needed to respond to a Henderson Street address.

11:15 pm – traffic stop on East Main Street.

Thursday, May 28, 2026

1:01 am – suspicious male and a female with a bike reported in the alley towards North Chestnut Street.

5:20 am – traffic stop on Henderson Street. Warning issued for tag and no turn signal.

5:24 am – traffic stop on South Lincoln Avenue for a possible disabled vehicle.

5:57 am – traffic stop at Tacoma. Warning issued for speed.

6:24 am – traffic stop on Hillcrest.

12:56 pm – caller requested a BOLO (Be on the Look Out) for a tractor trailer possibly coming through Barnesville. The driver hit the curb and ripped out a flower bed.

1:38 pm – person on station reporting two customers who are not paying for or picking up their vehicles.

2:45 pm – traffic stop on Bethesda Street. Warning issued for stop sign.

6:17 pm – caller reports a red and white crotch rocket bike speeding through town and south on Route 800.

8:46 pm – vehicle lockout on Main Street.

9:38 pm – caller reports there are some kids playing in the street on West Church Street. He also stated that he can see through his neighbor’s window.

10:29 pm – traffic stop. Warning issued for headlights.

Friday, May 29, 2026

12:15 am – traffic stop on Walker Road.

1:58 am – assisting The Ohio State Highway Patrol with a pursuit of a black BMW SUV. Vehicle’s tires were spiked.

2:38 am – traffic stop on West South Street.

3:07 am – business check on West Main Street.

12:26 pm –caller from McGhee Lane reports a neighbor is spraying grass into the roadway and blew rocks up against the caller’s house while mowing grass.

12:29 pm – female on station with a juvenile that she found in the street.

4:00 pm – caller reports that on Old State Route 8, there are two males in a blue Saturn with a  six-year-old driving the car. Caller also reports that the youngster almost wrecked the car. Officer reports negative contact with the car.

6:10 pm – caller reports a male with long gray hair is on the sidewalk. It looks like he was going to walk into traffic.

8:35 pm – caller asking about recreational campers parked on the street.

Saturday, May 30, 2026

5:54 am – traffic stop on South Chestnut Street.

6:16 am – traffic stop on East Main Street.

9:59 am – caller states there is a water break at the corner of West Main and North Gardner streets. Dispatcher left a message with the water department.

12:51 pm – traffic stop on Shamrock Drive.

4:40 pm – traffic stop on State Route 147.

4:49 pm – traffic stop on State Route 147.

10:26 pm – investigate complaint regarding dogs barking on Shamrock Drive.

11:05 pm – traffic stop on South Lincoln Avenue.

11:21 pm – caller needs help putting the truck in her garage. Dispatcher reports no one is available at this time.

11:26 pm – officer hung a door tag at a resident on Shamrock Drive regarding barking dogs.

11:48 pm – caller reports a tanker truck is being driven left of center at times  on State Route 800 North.

11:48 pm – traffic stop on Gobblers Knob Road.

11:50 pm – traffic stop on Bahmer Road.

11:55 pm – caller asks dispatcher to remain on the phone while a custody exchange takes place.

Sunday, May 31, 2026

9:55 am – caller reports there is a white van parked on the trail at Memorial Park. The van is parked near the cabins. Officer reported that the van will be moved.

1:27 pm – caller reports her neighbor’s alarm is going off. Caller is unable to get neighbor to answer the door. A CO2 monitor is malfunctioning. T he batteries will be changed.

4:07 pm – caller from Chestnut Level area regarding a woman knocking on his door. She said she is lost  and is looking for Barnesville. Female may be intoxicated.
