Donna Jean Broemsen

Donna Jean Broemsen, 67, of Jerusalem, Ohio passed away Thursday, June 4, 2026 at her home.

     She was born at Cameron, Ohio on April 11, 1959 a daughter of the late Charles William Ady and Margaret “Maggie” Vaness Ady.

    She was an independent healthcare aide for MRDD and was also a homemaker.

     Donna was a member of the Barnesville Church of Christ, Barnesville, Ohio and was a member of the Auxiliary of the VFW Post 5303, Woodsfield, Ohio and the American Legion Auxiliary, Beallsville, Ohio. She was also a member of the Thunderbolt Chickamauga Nation Tribute where she was known as Loving Dove.

     Donna enjoyed shopping, traveling and spending time with family.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Johnthan Broemsen and a brother, Carl Ady.

     Surviving are her husband, John Broemsen of the home; one daughter, Jessica (Clarence) Leedy of the home; three sons, Sony Love of Elba, Ohio, Joenath (Shainna) Broemsen of Woodsfield, Ohio, Jeremy Broemsen of Woodsfield, Ohio; three sisters, Lorna (Ron) Broemsen of Lewisville, Ohio, Hazel Morris of Wooster, Ohio, Nancy (Kenny) Bohl of Rittman, Ohio; two brothers, Jerry Ady of Cameron, Ohio and Roger Ady of Cameron, Ohio; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and extended family daughters, Amber Davis and Elizabeth Quickle; several extended grandchildren; and her beloved dog, Chewy.

     Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78, Woodsfield, Ohio from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Sunday, June 7, 2026 where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 8, 2026 with Val Roxby officiating. Burial will follow in the Cameron Cemetery, Cameron, Ohio with a dinner to follow at the V.F.W. Post 5303, Woodsfield, Ohio
