Lewis Stratton

Lewis Stratton, 89, of Waverly, Ohio passed 11:35 p.m., Sunday, September 15, 2024 at his home.

Lewis was born November 5, 1934 in Salem, Ohio, the son of the late Howard Stratton, and Mabel (Whinnery) Stratton. He was united in marriage to Wanda Marie (Frazer) Stratton who preceded him in death.

He is survived by six children, Lynn Murnahan, Susan Stratton, Steven Stratton, Shelly Stratton, Patricia Dayton, and Michael Stratton; ten grandchildren; and Six great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife.

Lewis was a dairy farmer, and log home builder.

No calling hours will be observed. Arrangements are under the care of Boyer Cremation Services.  

Ed. Note: Stratton and his late wife, Wanda were 1952 graduates of the Friends Boarding School, Barnesville.  He was also instrumental in saving the Stratton Flour Mill in Flushing, now on the National Register of Historic Places and under the care of the Stratton Flour Mill Foundation
