Friday, June 5, 2026

9:41 am — Clark Street, Holloway. A deputy responded to a call about a cardiac arrest. The patient was declared dead on arrival.

2:55 pm — Flushing. Deputies were dispatched to help a woman having a mental health crisis. The woman was taken to a hospital.

3:29 pm — Poland Farm Road, Flushing. A deputy responded to a call to enforce a cease and desist order after the caller’s neighbor continued to cut grass on the caller’s property.

4:55 pm — McDowell Road, Barnesville. A deputy was called to a scene because a neighbor was damaging the caller’s garage door by driving a gator in front of it. The parties were advised that it is a civil matter.

Saturday, June 6, 2026

8:24 am — Belmont-Morristown Road, Belmont. A deputy arrived on scene to collect information for a crash report.

9:00 am — I-70, Morristown. A deputy helped a Ohio State Patrol trooper on a report of a stolen trailer.

11:24 am — Saffel Church Road Washington Twp., Armstrong Mills. Deputies assisted at the scene of a crash. The scene was taken over by Ohio State Highway Patrol.

2:36 pm — Centerville-Warnock Road, Belmont. A 911 call was hung up. Static was heard upon callback. A deputy arrived at the address and verified that everything was ok.

8:01 pm — National Road, Barnesville. A deputy responded to a call about a naked man drinking beer on his porch. The deputy had previously responded to a call about the man for a similar incident. The man was taken to the Belmont County Jail.

Sunday, June 7, 2026

8:13 am — Center Street, Holloway. A caller advised there is a parked vehicle with blown out tires. The car was parked in a driveway, out of traffic so no action was taken.

10:23 am — National Road, Morristown. A deputy picked up a man and transported him to the Guernsey County line.

10:29 am — Belmont-Morristown Road, Belmont. A man was reported walking down the road who appeared to be struggling with a medical emergency. The man was given food and a ride to the West Virginia border.

12:39 pm — Belmont-Morristown Road, Belmont. Caller reports a tractor trailer struck the Dollar General store sign.

1:17 pm — Old State Road, Bethesda. A caller reported that he was receiving threatening phone calls about challenging him to a fight. Caller went to locations to fight the unknown caller. No one showed up. Caller wanted to have a record of the incident.

7:12 pm — A caller reported that her husband wouldn’t let her leave the residence. A deputy arrived and verified nothing physical had occurred. The woman left the location for the night.

8:52 pm — Flushing-Holloway Road, Flushing. A deputy conducted a welfare check on an individual. Everything was ok.

11:48 pm — Phillips Road, Fairpoint. A deputy followed up on reports of a fight.

Monday, June 8, 2026

10:41 am — Main Street, Hendrysburg. A deputy responded to a caller who said her dog was attacked by an albino fox. Animal control captured the fox and gave it to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources.

6: 25 pm — Gordon Street, Belmont. A deputy followed up on a lead on a missing person. The missing person was found.

10:41 pm — East Main Street, Barnesville. A driver was pulled over and given a warning that a headlight was out.

Tuesday, June 9, 2026

1:03 am — Water Tower Road, Belmont. The dog warden was sent to the location to make contact with dogs on the property and conduct a welfare check on the resident. Contact was made with the owner while the dogs are in a fenced area.

8:22 am — National Road, Belmont. A caller wanted to know how to trespass an individual (to keep them off of the property).

2:46 pm — Belmont-Morristown Road, Belmont. A neighbor hit the caller’s duck with a shovel after the duck wandered onto the neighbor’s yard and attacked a chicken. The neighbor admitted to the incident and apologized. All animals were returned to where they belong.

6:34 pm — West Cross Street, Morristown. A caller reported a man on her porch. The man lives at a nearby mental health facility. The man was returned home.

8:12 pm — Poland Road, Flushing. A caller requested help to get a snake removed from the house. The snake was removed.

Wednesday, June 10, 2026

1:30 pm — Chaney Road, Wheeling Township, Flushing. A deputy was sent to patrol a road that was being used as a detour.
