Varsity Boys Basketball (Updated)
Barnesville Advances to District Semi-Finals
Final score from Ridgewood.
Barnesville – 42, Ridgewood – 34
Barnesville advances to play on Wednesday, February 26 at the ECO Center, St. Clairsville. Barnesville will take on the St. Clairsville Red Devils at 7:45 according to social media posts early Sunday morning.
The Shamrocks will travel to Ridgewood on Saturday, February 22nd for their first game in the Div. V Boys Basketball East District bracket. Tipoff is at 7:00
Varsity Girls Basketball
Wednesday, February 19: Tusky Valley – 49, Barnesville – 16
This game in Division V, East District Round Two of Girls Basketball ended the Shamrocks season and the high school careers of Maddy Tyson and Zoey Fritter
Varsity Bowling
Thursday, February 20 – Barnesville’s Boys and Girls Bowling teams competed in the District at Legacy Lanes, Coshocton.
The boys came in 5th and the girls 6th in team scoring.
Senior Haley Hoffer placed 11th in the girls’ division and Colton Hall, 9th, in the boys competition, the two highest scorers for the Shamrocks.
While this ends the season for the two teams, Hoffer will finish her high school season at Morgantown on Sunday, March 15 as she competes in the Ohio vs. West Virginia Seniors match.

Barnesville is the Division III Sectional Champion.
Saturday, February 22 – Barnesville hosts the Ohio Division III Sectional Wrestling Tournament. Getting underway at 10:00, teams from the following schools are entered in the competition. Barnesville, Beallsville, Buckeye Local, Coshocton, Crooksville, Fairless, Fort Frye, Martins Ferry, Monroe Central, Ridgewood, River, Shenandoah, Toronto and Union Local.
