Monday, July 6, 2026
1:08 am – report of a waterline break on East Main Street.
1:11 am – vehicle needs battery jumped on East Main Street.
4:37 am – traffic stop on North Chestnut Street.
9:17 am – report of heavy debris in the roadway on West Main Street.
11:13 am – male on station dropping off a flag that was found on the sidewalk in front of Blossom’s. Flag pole snapped in two.
11:43 am – traffic stop on East Main Street.
11:49 am – male caller reports a customer from Barnesville is refusing to answer phone calls about a bill that is due to the caller for services rendered.
11:59 am – vehicle lockout on Michelli Street.
1:05 pm – person on station to drop off a purse that was stolen from the park on July 4.
2:06 pm – person called about a bank account that has been involved with a fraud scheme. Dispatcher advised the caller to call the Belmont County Sheriff’s Department since the location of the residence is Gobblers Knob Road outside of the village.
2:36 pm – female on station reporting while attempting to step off her porch, six big boys rode past her house on E-Bikes. She reported this same situation last week.
4:00 pm – traffic stop on East Main Street near Joe’s Tire.
5:00 pm – caller asking if we have a person in jail on the station. Dispatcher responded there is no one in the jail at this time.
5:21 pm – caller from Bernhard Street reporting traffic passing the residence at a high rate of speed. Also, when drivers attempt to make a turn, they are driving in his yard.
9:02 pm – caller reporting that her granddaughter is getting messages and requests to send photos of herself.
11:04 pm – caller reports a truck is parked in the yellow slanted area of North Arch Street near the gym.
Tuesday, July 7, 2026
7:06 am – caller from South Lincoln Avenue regarding a dog barking complaint.
10:33 am – male caller states we are making ROBO calls to his phone and wants it to stop. If it doesn’t stop, he is going to go to a judge. Dispatcher advised the police department doesn’t make ROBO calls. He wasn’t happy with the dispatcher’s response.
10:36 am – vehicle lockout on East Main Street.
10:49 am – semi-truck on East South Street needs assistance backing out onto the roadway.
12:04 pm – person on station asking if his wallet or cell phone is turned in to contact him.
1:39 pm – 911 call regarding a domestic situation on Pigeon Point Road. Son has issues. One male detained.
4:21 pm – caller from Morgantown Avenue reported a strange male is standing in the roadway. Officer reported that the man is waiting on a ride.
7:35 pm – follow up investigation on Leatherwood Road.
11:07 pm – traffic stop on Fair Street. People are at the park after closing time.

12:34 am – reports of fighting in a parking lot on East Main Street.
1:32 am – caller reports a smashed window and a person who tried to stab her boyfriend.
10:45 am – traffic stop on South Chestnut Street.
12:39 pm – caller states a hole on North Chestnut Street needs patched.
1:04 pm – caller reports he backed into another vehicle on East Main Street. No injuries or damages to the vehicles reported.
6:03 pm – caller requesting a call back from an officer.
8:28 pm – person on station regarding a theft case.
9:06 pm – officer on Belview Street responding to a person who believes someone pepper sprayed the area. Female states she and her husband’s eyes are burning and watering. Officer reports that a neighbor applied pepper spray on a hornet’s nest.
9:43 pm – traffic stop on North Chestnut Street.
9:47 pm – female caller from East Church Street reports someone tampered with her medication and basically poisoned her.
Thursday, July 9, 2026
1:32 am – officer on North Street regarding a juvenile. Officer spoke with the mother and she was aware that the juvenile was out of the house.
2:26 am – suspicious person on South Chestnut Street.
2:38 am – repossessed vehicles. Owner is not aware.
5:04 am – traffic stop on Laws Street. Citation issued for expired tag. Warning issued for turn signal.
6:09 am – traffic stop on East Main Street near McDonalds. Warning issued for speed.
8:59 am – report made that the traffic light on South Chestnut Street is not working.
1:24 pm – caller from Henderson Street reports his neighbor’s down sprout is pointed towards his property. When it rains the water runs to his house and into his basement.
1:42 pm – traffic stop on West Church Street.
2:17 pm – traffic stop on Railroad Street. Warning issued for speed.
2:58 pm – traffic stop on Shamrock Drive near the high school. Warning issued for speed.
4:26 pm – report of a vehicle accident at the Certified parking lot. The dispatcher could hear people yelling in the background.
7:42 pm – traffic stop on North Arch Street near the firehouse.
8:01 pm – traffic stop on Railroad Street.
8:13 pm – traffic stop on Railroad Street.
9:00 pm – traffic stop on Mt. Olivett Road. Citation issued.
9:57 pm – caller from West Church Street reports hearing a loud boom near the elementary school. Officer reports someone in the area set off fireworks.
11:50 pm – traffic stop on Bond Avenue.

3:07 am – traffic stop on Bond Avenue.
8:22 am – traffic stop on South Chestnut Street. Driver cited for failure to reinstate driver license.
12:09 pm – traffic stop on East Main Street.
12:57 pm – traffic stop on Railroad Street. Warning issued for license plate.
2:30 pm – traffic stop on East Main Street.
3:00 pm – traffic stop on South Street.
3:45 pm – The traffic light on South Chestnut at South Street is not working, it is reported.
7:39 pm – officer at Rotary Lake, Barnesville Memorial Park. Warning given.
9:34 pm – caller reports a person is driving in the South Chestnut Street area. The person was evicted about a month ago from the property. He is driving around the complex at excessive speeds.
11:19 pm – caller reports a vehicle is parked at the storage sheds on Railroad Street.

8:53 am – female on station reporting there is a baby raccoon in the trash can in front of the gym on East Main Street.
1:22 pm – female caller reports there are baby raccoons in the dumpster at the Plumly Townhouses.
4:23 pm – attempting to serve a warrant. Officer reported negative contact.
4:49 pm – officer on West Main Street in regards to a male with a packet of papers. Officer reports the man is passing out election flyers.
8:27 pm – vehicle lockout on East Main Street.
8:28 pm – traffic stop on South Chestnut Street.
11:55 pm – assisting the EMS squad on East Harris Road in Warren Township.
Sunday, July 12, 2026
12:37 am – fight on West Main Street. No weapons reported.
12:40 am – caller reports that their son is drinking and yelling.
8:15 am – officer going to the Barnesville Hospital to issue a citation.
10:05 am – male caller asked about a lost phone. Dispatcher responded no phone was turned in.
4:26 pm – disabled vehicle on West Main Street.
5:56 pm – report of an accident on West Leatherwood Pike. Neighbors are engaged in a dispute over parking.
7:49 pm – caller reports there is a big fire inside a barn on Morgantown Avenue. Caller believes that a person may be burning trash inside the building. Officer reports the fire is out and the resident was told they cannot burn trash in town.
8:26 pm – caller reports someone stole his cell phone and that he lost and changed his Facebook information.
10:24 pm – traffic stop on North Chestnut Street.
11:38 pm – caller reports there is a pick – up truck heading towards Barnesville that cut the caller off in the middle of the road.
