Friday, July 10, 2026
12:06 am — Belmont-Morristown Road, Morristown. A deputy took a report on a collision between two semi-trucks.
8:29 am — Reco Road, Belmont. Caller reported a man was causing a scene at a hotel. The man was saying that his mother was there but did not know the room number. The caller wanted him removed. The man had left the hotel before the deputy arrived.
7:00 pm — Interstate 70 Eastbound. A deputy assisted Ohio State Highway Patrol with a hit and run out of Guernsey County.
8:49 pm — McMillian Road, Barnesville. Two deputies responded to a 911 hang up. The caller said she hit the wrong button.
Saturday, July 11, 2026
12:39 am — East High Street, Flushing. A man went to the Sheriff’s Office to complain about someone using his debit card. The complaintent found out it was his friend and did not press charges.
7:48 am — Mount Victory Road, Jacobsburg. A caller reported a camper, which was potentially stolen, was parked in the road. The camper was not stolen, this was all in reference to a domestic dispute the caller was having with her son. She was advised to callback in the evening to speak to the night shift manager.
10:23 am — Morristown Street, Flushing. A doctor’s office called and wanted someone to tell a woman to go to the emergency room because her test results were dangerously low. The message was relayed but the woman still denied EMS and said she would call the doctor back.
2:36 pm — Starkey Road, Barnesville (Kirkwood Twp). Caller reported her car broke down. The caller had to leave the car in order to get cell service. Her husband and son were left in the car. Someone helped move the car and get it running. All is ok.
7:38 pm — Depot Street, Bethesda. A caller reported that there were suspicious kids sneaking around her property and peering into car windows. Deputies did not find the kids. Caller was advised to call back if they saw the kids again.
10:09 pm — Jacobsburg. A caller complained about a neighbor. Deputies made contact with the neighbor. Dispatch advised that she had an arrest warrant. Deputies parked down the road and waited for the woman to come outside again. Deputies detained her and transported her to Powhattan.
Sunday, July 12, 2026
8:09 am — Belmont-Morristown Road, Belmont. Caller reported a crash between two semi-trucks.
8:52 am — Belmont-Morristown Road, Belmont. A deputy was flagged down by a transient man. The man was given a ride to Cambridge.
1:30 pm — Robin Street, Belmont (Union Township). There was a 911 hang up. Callback was made and all was okay.
2:23 pm — Belmont-Morristown Road, Belmont. An alarm was going off. No keyholder responded. A deputy secured the building.
5:22 pm — Virginia Street, Bethesda. Dispatch advised that there was a caller in a bad mood who had been arguing with their caregiver. Deputies responded and requested EMS to conduct a mental health evaluation.
6:19 pm — North Main Street, Bethesda. Dispatch advised that a possible domestic incident had taken place in which boiling water was thrown on the male half. Dispatch advised the man would be outside. The deputies didn’t see any marks on the man and he denied medical treatment. He also told the deputies that he did not want to press charges and only wanted the deputies to speak to the woman. Deputies advised the pair that one of them should leave for the evening. They both declined. The deputies advised them to not interact for the rest of the evening.
Monday, July 13, 2026
1:10 pm — Flushing Township. A sexual assault was reported with the assailant leaving for Columbus. The caller was transported to a hospital for tests.
6:42 pm — Glencoe Stewartsville Road, Jacobsburg. A caller reported that she had gone off the road and could not get back on it.
Tuesday, July 14, 2026
8:09 am — Brown Road, Bethesda. There were reports of cattle on the road. A deputy managed to herd them back where they belong.
11:27 am — Reco Road, Belmont. A caller reported that a vehicle crashed into their curb. Information was taken for a report and EMS took one person from the scene.
11:41 am — Lafferty Road, Lafferty. A deputy went out to investigate a complaint about a repossessed vehicle.
12:00 pm — Rogers Road, Bethesda. A caller came to the sheriff’s office to report a missing shotgun. He advised that he may have left it on the trunk of his car and it fell off as he drove off. The serial number was collected.
3:00 pm — Main Street, Belmont. Ohio State Highway Patrol asked deputies to look into a white truck that drove through a construction site.
5:28 pm — Oak Street, Bethesda. A caller reported that someone they knew stole their boat. The accused thief was incarcerated when the boat was moved. The issue is going through civil court.

3:40 pm — Interstate Highway 70 East, Barnesville. A deputy assisted with getting a car towed.
7:03 pm — Morristown-Flushing Road, Flushing. A caller reported that an unknown individual keeps speeding past their property throwing out trash onto the property. The caller was advised to call back if they get the plate number.
8:09 pm — Reco Road, Morristown. Caller reported an accident. A deputy responded and took information.
