‘Rocks Golfers Up Record to 13-1
In spite of the almost continuous rain this week, the Barnesville Shamrocks golfers were able to take part in competition two days, increasing their regular season record to 13-1.
Wednesday, the team took on Bridgeport, Monroe Central and Tyler Consolidates at Beallsville’s Switzerland of Ohio Country Club.
Two Shamrocks were co-medalists in the contest. Blaine Thompson and Blake Shugert each “fired” a 36 for the honors.

Thursday evening the team racked up wins over Bridgeport, Monroe Central and River high schools at the Crispin Golf Course, Oglebay Park, Wheeling. The wins brought the season record to 13-1.
For a second day running, two ‘Rocks golfers claimed co-medalist honors with Kennedy Little and Blake Shugert each shooting 37.
