1:13 pm – disabled vehicle on East Main Street.

1:46 pm – female on station talking to an officer.

2:20 pm – traffic stop on West Church Street near the elementary school. Warning issued.

3:10 pm – individuals on station wanting to stop two people from trespassing onto their business property.

3:41 pm – caller from West Main Street reporting there is someone down the street from the hospital blowing grass into the roadway.

7:26 pm – male caller from Pine Lane states his ex is sending him messages after she has a temporary protection order against him.

8:03 pm – traffic stop on Mackey Drive. Warning issued for no turn signal.

9:36 pm – traffic stop on West Church Street. Warning issued for no headlights on.

Tuesday, August 25, 2026

3:49 pm – caller from North Chestnut Street regarding the downstairs neighbor’s baby crying for at least one and one-half hours. Officer talked to the mother who said she has triplets and her  hands are full.

7:53 pm – traffic stop on South Chestnut Street.

8:35 pm – traffic stop on Railroad Street. Warning issued for left of the center line.

8:38 pm – call from the Barnesville Hospital regarding a combative patient.

Wednesday, August 26, 2026

1:09 am – traffic stop on East Main Street. Driver passed a field sobriety test.

6:01 am – EMS squad requesting an officer at a North Street address regarding a person possibly making abuse 911 calls.

6:41 am – traffic stop on East Main Street. Warning issued for speed.

 10:42 am – caller from South Broadway Street in regard to a scam on Facebook.

12:05 pm – traffic stop on Mill Street.

12:07 pm – person on station reporting that a truck got struck in the lower lot by the municipal building. Officer located the person that left the scene of the accident.

2:07 pm – investigation on North Broadway Street. 911 advised.

3:23 pm – call from the Barnesville Hospital emergency room requesting an officer come for assistance.

7:45 pm – female caller states that there are chickens in the roadway on State Route 800 South.

8:26 pm – call from the Barnesville Hospital regarding to a combative patient.

10:03 pm –caller from South Broadway Street regarding a lost elderly female needing help getting home. Officer assisted the female to her home.

11:56 pm – caller reporting he saw a man walking by the tracks with a flashlight.

Thursday, August 27, 2026

7:35 am – traffic stop on Shamrock Drive.

9:40 am – officer assisting a person with a flat tire on State Route 800 north.

10:22 am – person looking for a delinquent child. Officer located the child and transported the child to the high school.

11:44 am – traffic stop on East Main Street.

12:10 pm – caller requesting a welfare check. Caller reported that the woman was beat up by her boyfriend a short while ago. Caller has not heard from her and wanted to make sure she is okay. Officer made contact with the woman and reported everything is fine.

12:16 pm – welfare check on South Broadway Street. Officer reported negative contact with the person.

2:49 pm – traffic stop on Roosevelt Road.

3:59 pm – Monroe County Sheriff’s Department called asking if there have been any large quantities of jewelry stolen in Barnesville recently.

4:36 pm – male on East Main Street with altered mental status and wanted to drive from a parking lot. EMS requested an officer to take the male home.

5:51 pm – traffic stop on Bond Avenue.

9:06 pm – traffic stop on East Main Street. Warning issued for traffic device.

10:04 pm – traffic stop on Bond Avenue. Warning issued for expired tags.

Friday, August 28, 2026

2:23 pm – investigating a complaint on Watt Avenue. Male is experiencing a heart attack.

7:32 pm – officer spoke with two juveniles on North Broadway Street.

8:24 pm – traffic stop on Bond Avenue. Citation issued for expired tag.

10:17 pm – traffic stop on West South Street.

10:27 pm – traffic stop on East Main Street. Warning issued for speed.

10:50 pm – traffic stop on South Lincoln Avenue near WesBanco. Warning issued for driving with no headlights on.

11:29 pm – traffic stop on State Route 800 North. Warning issued for left of center line.

11:40 pm – traffic stop on North Broadway Street.

Saturday, August 29, 2026

1:49 am – traffic stop on East Main Street. Warning issued for left of center line.

6:23 am – traffic stop on Bond Avenue. Warning issued for speed and left of center line.

6:46 am – traffic stop on East Main Street.

9:03 am – vehicle lockout.

2:23 pm – Barnesville Hospital Emergency Department called asking if someone could check on a female at Quaker City. Female left the emergency room with an IV and was not discharged. When contacted, she became irate and hung up the phone. Dispatcher contacted the Guernsey County Sheriff’s Department, and they will have someone check on her.

4:21 pm – warrant service on Wiley Avenue. Officer has negative contact.

4:27 pm – investigating a complaint on Grey Lane.

4:45 pm – warrant service on West Church Street.

5:32 pm – caller from North Broadway Street reporting a dog that has been left outside all day. Officer reported that the dog is inside and is fine.

 6:56 pm – investigating a complaint on South Lincoln Avenue.

8:18 pm – traffic stop on North Chestnut Street.

8:30 pm – warrant service on Carl Street. Officer reported negative contact.

8:57 pm – officer on Vine Street regarding a camper blocking the roadway. The camper was purchased with the new owner attempting to pull the camper out of the area.

9:25 pm – traffic stop on Morgantown Avenue. Warning issued for speed and headlight.

9:40 pm – traffic stop on State Route 800 South. Warning issued for nonworking brake lights.

10:22 pm – caller reporting loud noise coming from the Biergarten at the Blue Moon Tavern.

10:22 pm – caller reporting a white Chevy truck is driving erratically on South Gardner Street.

10:44 pm – traffic stop on Shamrock Drive.

10:53 pm – officer checking on a vehicle that pulled behind the Dodge dealership on East Main Street. Officer reports that all checks out okay.

11:06 pm – traffic stop on Mt. Olivett Road.

 Sunday, August 30, 2026

1:20 am – caller from Greenmount Avenue in regard to a suspicious male knocking on the caller’s door.

1:59 am – traffic stop on Railroad Street. Consent to search granted.

3:58 am – traffic stop on East Main Street near Riesbeck’s. Warning issued for speed.

6:22 am – officer on Greenmount Avenue with a male from an earlier call.

6:31 am – traffic stop. Warning issued for speed and expired tag.

6:58 am – a suspicious male at the Barnesville Hospital. He keeps coming in and out of the hospital. Officer reported everything is fine.

8:23 pm – caller states that she struck a cat on West Main Street. She wanted to know how to contact the cat’s owner.

11:46 pm – traffic stop on East Church Street. Officer checking on a car.

11:59 pm – investigating a complaint on South Chestnut Street.
