Walton Home Animal Shelters Drive
The annual Walton Home Local Animal Shelters Drive for 2026 is now underway through Saturday, October 31.
Last year, organizers filled a van with donations that were taken to area animal shelters.
This year, residents of the Walton Home are “making special homemade healthy dog treats” and someone is making a ”variety of bandanas so the animals at the shelter look adorable.”
Organizers have also added gift cards to the list along with suggested vendors, including Chewy, Petland, PetSmart, Walmart, Rural King or anywhere items may be purchased.
Also new this year will be an adoption fair in the courtyard at the facility.
Area residents may also “drop off or send a picture of fur babies” that will be displayed at the home for the enjoyment of the residents.
