Billy Joseph Weller

William “Billy” Joseph Weller 67 of Wellsburg, WV passed away September 5, 2026, at Weirton Medical Center, Weirton, WV.

He was born December 23, 1958, in Youngstown, OH to the late Robert and Kathryn Rhodes Weller.

He was a member of the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Billy was a teacher for 32 years at Union Local High School and was the high school Intervention Specialist, he also coached girls’ softball, baseball and football for Union Local High School and was the past president for the teacher union at Union Local. He received his undergrad from the college of Wooster, OH and Masters from WVU.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Michael Weller and his sister Jane Weller.

He is survived by his wife Rebecca “Becky” Harvey Weller, brother Patrick Weller and his companion Karen of Hubbard, OH, in laws Patrick and Vivian Harvey, Nanci Dailer and Mike and Marsha Harvey, several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, from 4-8p.m. at Reasner Funeral Home 1515 Charles St. Wellsburg, WV.

Funeral Liturgy with Mass, Thursday, September 10, at 11a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Wellsburg, WV with Father Justin Golna as Celebrant.
