Friday, September 11, 2026
8:59 am – Jacobsburg. Caller reported dogs were being neglected and barking constantly. A deputy responded. A unit went to an address to speak with a neighbor.
12:33 pm – Belmont. Caller reported a Jeep over the bank. Deputies responded. There was no license plate on the vehicle. Deputies ran the vehicle identification number. Caller advised it would be up to the property owner to have the vehicle towed.
1:20 pm – Flushing. Caller reported a rock thrown while a neighbor was mowing grass.
2:10 pm – Abby’s Crossing/Bethesda Meadows, Virginia Street, Bethesda. Caller reported a male employee was being aggressive. The caller said she was locked in an office, and the male was being terminated. Officers responded. He was escorted off the property.
2:27 pm – Morristown. Caller reported a female in the house was behaving erratically, throwing items. The caller was in a vehicle with pets. Officers responded.
3:50 pm – Flushing. Caller reported someone was digging in the right-of- way. Information taken for a report.
4:46 pm – Jacobsburg. Complainant came to the station to report he left a truck stuck in the Seven Creeks overnight. When he returned, the truck was burned. Information and photos taken.
6:49 pm – Belmont. Caller complained about a dog barking outside. An officer responded, and the dog was taken inside at dark.
9:14 pm – Barnesville. Caller reported a male in a jacked-up SUV driving at a high rate of speed. The caller also reported the man had a firearm and a history of harassing the caller’s family. Barnesville police located the vehicle on East Main Street The caller requested extra patrols.
Sunday, September 13, 2026
3:00 pm – Flushing. Caller reported an aggressive dog loose in the area. Animal shelter notified. While on the scene, deputies located a vehicle reported as stolen in Bellaire. Towing company called. Bellaire Police notified.
4:06 pm – Barnesville/Somerset Twp., Caller reported a patient disclosed sexual abuse in the home. Report to follow.
7:55 pm – Beallsville/Washington Twp. Caller reports her daughter is in the area hiding in the weeds from her boyfriend whom she fears. Deputies responded and contacted the caller. Several attempts to reach the daughter by phone were not successful. Daughter does not reside with the man.
Monday, September 14, 2026
10:45 am – Lucas-Lash Road, Belmont. Investigate a littering/illegal dumping complaint involving tires and trash at this location. Photos were obtained, and information was forwarded to the EPA to follow up on the tire complaint.
12:52 pm – Flushing. Caller is afraid another person is coming over to get him. No threats made, call record only.
6:26 pm – Barnesville Hospital. Deputy dispatched to the lab on special detail.
9:56 pm – Belmont/Smith Twp. 15-year-old advises his grandfather assaulted him. Juvenile is going to uncle’s residence. Child Protective Services was notified
Tuesday, September 15, 2026
12:03 am – Union Township. Caller states he was talking to his sister, and his stepfather attempted to fight him. Stepfather also made threats to shoot the caller. When the caller left, stepfather went outside with firearm. All is reportedly recorded by camera. Parties spoken to. No one wants to pursue charges at this time.
12:19 am – Belmont-Morristown Road, Belmont. Tractor trailer in roadway. Driver advises the airline blew. Ohio Patrol notified. “Truck on its way.”
7:21 pm – Belmont-Morristown Road, Belmont. Two commercial vehicles, one pulling out struck the other. Both units are out of the roadway.
2:10 pm – Belmont/Union Twp. Student reported a sexual assault that occurred off the school campus. Information taken for report.
8:05 pm – National Road Morristown. Units responded to the Village Network Youth Center for a report of a 16-year-old juvenile assaulting staff and destroying property. The male was transported to the Sargus Juvenile Detention Center.
8:13 pm – Belmont-Morristown Road, Belmont (Love’s Tire Shop). Caller states that someone broke the trailer seal. Report taken.
Wednesday, September 16, 2026
12:43 am – Belmont. Male fell and is now making threats towards neighbors. Referral to Belmont County Cares. All is good now.
11:01 am – Barnesville/Somerset Twp. Deputies out on special detail at an address. Made contact with the property owner.
9:37 am – Jacobsburg/Smith Twp. Caller reports a man on his property is breaking up stuff and threatening caller with an axe handle. Deputies responded. Male is in custody for transport to the jail.
6:26 pm – Belmont-Morristown Road, Belmont (Union Local High School). Caller was to pick up son after practice at the field. Not present. Search made before calling the office. Juvenile was located with teammates at a game at Martins Ferry. Parents will arrange for pickup.
7:52 pm – Alledonia. Caller wants on file that the son’s ex-girlfriend is coming sometime in the evening to get items. Ex-girlfriend, upset, set items at the end of the driveway. There have been issues in the past. Deputy spoke with caller.
11:04 pm – Bethesda. Caller reports he was at residence and stepfather came outside and pointed an assault rifle at him. Caller left and is now in Bellaire but requested a welfare check on his mother and brother. Caller states the stepfather kicked down the brother’s door and was yelling at the brother. All parties at the residence spoken to. Every thing is fine.
8:15 pm – Barnesville/Somerset Twp. Caller reports a friend sent a text asking to take her vehicle. Caller was at work at that time. Friend left with the vehicle without permission. Later, the caller reports the vehicle was back in her possession.
