September 26, 2026

4:08 am — Love’s, Belmont. A third party called to report that a person assaulted another and threw her belongings in the woods behind the travel stop. When the deputy arrived, the female stated that the confrontation was verbal only, and the male had left.

12:00 pm — Pilot, Belmont. A caller stated that he was being followed, and he was hard to understand on the phone. The deputy found no vehicles that appeared to be following the male. Mental health issues were suspected.

12:59 pm — Jacobsburg. An alarm drop occurred, and the owner was not home. The deputy found everything secure and no forced entry.

3:31 pm — Barnesville. A DoorDash driver called to state that the items dropped off two days ago were still on the porch. He was requesting a wellness check. The deputy did not make contact, but nothing looked out of the ordinary at the residence.

3:32 pm — National Rd, Belmont. A deputy followed up on a missing person.

8:20 pm — Barnesville. When the owner was not contacted after an alarm drop, a deputy responded. The alarm company made contact. It was a false alarm.

10:23 pm — Belmont. A caller spoke to a deputy about a neighbor kid hitting his parked car with a bicycle. The caller attempted to call the parents to check on the child and discuss the damage to his car. The parents became belligerent. The caller had started a report with his insurance company. The deputy advised not to contact the other party again and follow the recommendations of his insurance company.

September 27, 2026

7:52 am — OH-331, Flushing. The Ohio State Patrol reported an injured deer. When the deputy responded, the deer was deceased, and he pulled it off the side of the road.

8:20 pm — Flushing Holloway Rd, Flushing. The Ohio State Patrol reported a deer strike. The deer was dead when the deputy responded. A deer carcass receipt was issued to the caller.

September 28, 2026

7:04 am — School Zone, Belmont. A unit initiated a traffic stop of a truck and trailer. The driver was issued a warning for going 30 mph in a school zone.

7:14 am — School Zone, Belmont. A unit issued a warning for speeding in a school zone.

2:44 pm — Leatherwood Rd, Barnesville. A deputy was called to assist the Ohio State Patrol and the Cambridge Police Department in a pursuit of a male. The male crashed out at Rt 147 and Rt 265. The assistance was cancelled with the male in custody.

5:31 pm — Jacobsburg. A deputy investigated a scam. The caller had sent a check in. The deputy advised the caller to cancel the check at the bank. No funds were taken out yet.

8:50 pm — Bethesda. The caller reported her husband’s vehicle as stolen. A be-on-the-lookout was issued, and the deputy went to look at the last known location of the vehicle.

8:52 pm — Pilot, Belmont. A deputy responded to a hit and skip. The caller stated that his truck was hit by a white moving company’s Freightliner, and it had left the area.

September 29, 2026

8:24 am — Belmont-Morristown Rd, Belmont. Deputy responded to a deer that needed put down.

9:12 am — Warren Township. The caller reported a skid steer had been parked in his driveway for over a week and wanted it towed. The construction company arrived and stated that they would be moving it.

10:12 am — Mile Marker 201, Westbound Interstate 70. Driver stopped and was warned for speeding.

3:47 pm — Jacobsburg. The caller told the deputy that she had gotten into an argument with a male whom she believes watches her get dressed. The deputy advised that it was a civil matter.

7:28 pm — Belmont. The caller reported that she had been hit by another vehicle, and it left the area.

7:34 pm — Mile Marker 208, Interstate 70. A deputy issued a warning for turn signals during a traffic stop.

7:38 pm — Barnesville. Several vehicles parked in the caller’s yard during an estate auction and caused damage. The deputy advised the caller of the available avenues for restitution.

9:33 pm — Guernsey line. During a traffic stop, the deputy was given consent to search a vehicle. There were no findings. The driver received a written warning for a plate cover.

September 30, 2026

1:08 am — Alledonia. At the given location, a living room door alarm dropped. The deputy stated that the property was not accessible. The owner was advised that it was a false alarm.

9:19 am — Reco Rd, Belmont. The caller advised that a company truck in the parking lot was struck by a semi-truck, which they believed was still at Love’s. The deputy responded and cleared the location, then went to Love’s to attempt to make contact with the truck.

10:09 am — Brown St, Belmont. The caller reported vandalism of playground equipment that had been spray-painted. The video footage showed the suspects. The responding deputy took the information and would receive the footage. The deputy would try to speak to the suspected minors after school.

12:23 pm — Jacobsburg. The caller reported that a business stole $2500 from him. The deputy determined that it was a civil matter.

12:59 pm — Belmont. A deputy did a follow-up with EPA.

3:19 pm — Union Local Schools, Belmont. The caller stated that someone was harassing him. The male took off before the deputy arrived. Information was gathered for a report.

4:52 pm — Belmont. A deputy investigated a previous call. The mother stated that the child admitted to it. The mom was arranging for the minors to help clean it up.

5:58 pm — Belmont-Morristown Rd, Belmont. There was an alarm drop. Everything was found secure.
