Drug Abuse Case Pre-Trial Hearing
ST. CLAIRSVILLE – Appearing in Belmont County Court of Common Pleas last Monday morning for a criminal pre-trial hearing was Robert H. “Bob” Gentile ,82, of 72581 Uniontown-Flushing Road, who is charged with a 5th Degree Felony for “permitting drug abuse.”
Gentile was represented in court by Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld II of Morgantown, while the State of Ohio was represented by Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Joseph Vavra.
Gentile is the owner of a house that was subject to a search warrant on June 11 as a result of an investigation of suspected drug activity.
During the search, three individuals were taken into custody on multiple drug-related charges.
Judge Chris Berhalter set a plea agreement deadline of Nov. 16 and “if no agreement is filed,” a trail by jury will be set for December 7.
