Statewide, Belmont County Ballot Contests
ST. CLAIRSVILLE – With the Governor’s contest and U.S. Senate seat at the top of the ballot, statewide contests are contested as are the U.S. Representative, Ohio Senate and Ohio House races.
In Belmont County, all contests are uncontested having been decided in the May 5 Republican Primary except for the open County Commissioner’s position where Republican Dominic DeFelice is facing off against Democrat Franklin Shaffer.
The Barnesville Village ballot, shown below, provides an example of what Belmont County voters will face at next Tuesday’s General Election.

Individual precinct ballots for Western Belmont County villages and townships may be accessed on the Belmont County Board of Elections website
