Kenneth Mahr

Kenneth “Kenny” Mahr, born on May 23, 1963, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at his residence in Flushing, Ohio on April 6, 2025, at the age of 61, with his loving wife, brother, and sisters by his side.
Kenny was a dedicated and well-loved maintenance worker at the Belmont County Fairgrounds, where his cheerful demeanor and deep commitment to his work endeared him to colleagues and visitors alike. His genuine enthusiasm for his job was evident to all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
A man of simple pleasures, Kenny found joy and solace at Piedmont Lake, spending countless hours boating, fishing, and hunting. He was known for engaging conversations with those he met on the dock, always ready with a warm smile and a kind word. His big heart and happy disposition left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered, making him a cherished friend and companion.
Kenny was a person of faith, attending the Flushing Christian Church, where he was a respected and valued member of the community.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Lawrence Mahr and Catherine (Gorlewski) Mahr. He is survived by his devoted wife, Donna Mahr; siblings Larry (Karen) Mahr, Cindy (Chuck) Gay, and Sue (Dave) Lilly; as well as his faithful companion, Etta Mae. Kenneth also leaves behind several nieces and nephews who will fondly remember him.
There will be no visitation. Arrangements are entrusted to CARE Funeral and Cremation Specialists, located at 204 W. Main Street, St. Clairsville, Ohio 43950.
