Frank Richard Harp (Dick)

Frank Richard Harp (Dick) of Pinehurst, NC, beloved husband of Sharon Cozad Harp, Passed peacefully on April 5, 2025, at the age of 85.

Born March 3, 1940, in Barnesville, Ohio, Dick graduated from Barnesville High School and Muskingum College. After serving as Plant Manager at Electro Voice, Dick discovered his entrepreneurial spirit, owning restaurants and starting several businesses.

Dick is survived by his devoted wife of 48 years, Sharon; brother Tom and sister Marcia Harp; brothers-in-law Don (Linda) Cozad, Butch Miller, and Barry Chiron; daughters Cindy and Lisa Harp, son Mitch (Carol) Harp, stepson Brent (Christa) Callihan; and grandchildren Lindsay (Doug) Tanner, Natalie Harp, Julia Harp, Kelly Body, Alexa (Aaron) Weiland, Grand Fogle, Michaela (Trey) Roberts, and Frank Ian Callihan. Dick and Sharon also celebrate nine great grandchildren; Hannah, Adam, and George Tanner; Nova, Brodie, and Valerie Bodey; and Harper, Jack and Jude Weiland; along with many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his beloved mother and father Esther and Frank Harp, sister Marjory and brother-in-law Max Plumly; sisters and brothers-in-law Betty (Franklin) Anderson, Janet (Bob) Starner, Donna Miller Chiron, and Carolyn May.

Family will receive friends Saturday, May 17, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at 9 Brunswick Lane, Pinehurst, NC 28374. Donations may be made in memory of Frank (Dick) Harp to: FirstHealth Hospice House, 251 Campground Rd., West End, NC 27376.

Services are entrusted to Boles Funeral Home, Pinehurst.
