Union Local Senior wrestler Gavin Bolock has signed with Siena Heights University located in Adrian, Michigan where he will continue his wrestling career.

Addison Greenwood was selected this past week as one of 13 cheerleaders who will support the Ohio football players at the Rudy Mumley All-Star game in July.  

All-Valley Honorees

The annual All-Valley Honorees list of the Ohio Valley’s three daily newspapers was released this week.

Union Local honorees include:

Girls Basketball:   Laken Vinskovich, Junior, First Team; Ella Pietranton, Senior, Honorable Mention  

Boys Basketball: Dre Saunders, Senior, First Team; Billy Schumacher, Senior, Honorable Mention

Wrestling: Gunnar Gossett, Sophomore First Team; Gamble Gossett, Freshman, First Team; Brody Perzanowksi, Sophomore, Second Team

Eleven teams participated.  Locally, Barnesville, Beallsville, and Union Local teams were represented.

Both Barnesville teams came in second. Union Local came in 6th for the boys team and 4th for the girls team.
