As he wraps up a career in law enforcement spanning 45 years, Belmont County Sheriff Dave Lucas was feted at a special dinner/program this past Thursday evening. The event was profiled on WTOV-TV 9 News. .

The Belmont County CARES Program is expanding to include nurse practitioner services. The program is designed to decrease the number of non-emergency calls to the 911 Call center.

Providing the service will be Ohio Hills Health Center’s NP Ryan Gallagher through a sharing contract with the regional health practice which is headquartered in Barnesville.
