Committee Proposes to Bring The Wall that Heals to County
A group of Belmont County citizens is proposing to bring the “Wall that Heals” to Belmont County. The traveling exhibit features a three-quarters scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, DC along with a mobile Education Center.
Since 1996, the exhibit has been displayed at nearly 800 communities across the nation.
To gauge interest in the project, a survey is currently available at the Barnesville Hutton Memorial Library. The short, seven question survey may be taken and dropped of at the circulation desk.
