Quaker City Clean Up Days
Residents of the village of Quaker City will have an opportunity to off-load unwanted items including household goods, furniture and some appliances on Friday and Saturday, June 27-28.
The village will have a dumpster at the old sewer plant during those two days for residents to dump items into dumpsters. Items may not be left outside of the dumpsters.
Hours are Friday from 12 Noon to 9 pm (dusk) and Saturday from 7 am to 9 pm (dusk).
Items the village will not accept include tires, batteries, dead animals, AC units and refrigerators.
Large appliances accepted include washers, dryers, stoves and hot water heaters.
A public notice was distributed to households within the village limits by order of the Mayor, Council and Fiscal Officer.
