Linda Lucas

Linda Lou Lucas, 78, of Dover Ridge, Powhatan Point, Ohio, died Sunday, July 6, 2025, in WVU Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV.

She was born September 6, 1946, in Bellaire, Ohio, the only daughter of Wayne Robert Fraley and Helen Virginia Massie Fraley.

Linda was a 1964 graduate of Beallsville High School. She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Her other enjoyments were cooking, shopping, and caring for her flowers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Lucas, in 1984.

Linda is survived by her two loving daughters, Lisa Baker (Eric Cline) of Barnesville and Tricia Lucas (Sam Baker) of Powhatan Point; her longtime companion, Don Riser; two special grandchildren, Jeremy Baker and Hailey Baker (Richie Fackler); sister-in-law and dear friend, Beth Hill; cousins, Joan (Albert) Caldwell, Margaret “Bird” Skidmore, and Shirley Ferry; her best friend for over 60 years, Linda Perkins; and her beloved dog, Bella.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg, Ohio, where services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m., with Pastor Robert Fraley officiating. The burial will follow in Belmont Ridge Cemetery, Beallsville, Ohio.
