Deloris L Dickson
Deloris L. Dickson, 95, formerly of Powhatan Point, Ohio, passed away Saturday, July 5, 2025, in her home in North Georgia, surrounded by family. She was born June 5, 1930, in Beallsville, Ohio, a daughter of Stephen and Mary Jane (Van Ness) Boughner.
She and Howard Dickson Jr. were married in 1950. Deloris was employed for a time at Bellaire Enamel Corporation and was a homemaker in Steinersville, Ohio. Church was an important part of her life, being a member of the Amity Methodist Church for over 70 years.
She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her husband, Howard B. Dickson Jr. and her daughter, Beth Ann (Dickson) Cunard and her husband, Donald. She is survived by her son, David and daughter-in-law, Suli Wei.
Her home, family, garden and pets were sources of joy throughout her life. Howard and Deloris had a good life. They were both very hard-working people. They had a rich social life, and both went above and beyond to help those around them.
Honoring Deloris’s wishes, there will be no formal visitation. Memorial services will be arranged and scheduled in the coming weeks.
