Area Vacation Bible Schools Planned
First Christian Church, July 15-19 from 11:00 – 2:00. Theme: Start the Party. Ages one year of preschool to completion of 6th Grade.
West Main Street Church of Christ, July 21-25, 6:30. Theme: The Faith Force, Heroes of Goodly Living. Classes for all ages.
Kennonsburg Church, July 22-26, 5:30-8:30. Theme: Breaker Rock Beach: God’s Rock-Solid truth in a World of Shifting Sands.
East Main Street Church of Christ, August 7-9, 6:30-7:30. Theme: Noah, the Big Flood. Classes for all Ages including adults.
BAMA Summer Wednesday Swims Underway
The Barnesville Area Ministerial Association’s annual free Summer Swim takes place each Wednesday through the summer months. The swim gets underway at 11:00. After the swim, a devotion will be led by a local church leader and a free lunch, all at the Barnesville Memorial Park.
First Presbyterian Church Landscape Project Dedication
Girl Scout Troop 10063 has undertaken the complete landscaping project in front of the church. There will be a special dedication ceremony on Sunday, July 14 after the 10:30 morning church service honoring the memory of Emery Stewart III, who was a devout member of the First Presbyterian Church and was instrumental assisting the Troop with many projects. A luncheon will follow.

The Barnesville Area Ministerial Association August meeting will take place at the First United Methodist Church, Monday August 5, 9:00 am.
