Children’s Home History, Experiences Shared
It was a “full house” Thursday evening at the Watt Center for History and the Arts as local historian Marie Bundy and several former children who resided at the Belmont County Children’s Home (BCCH) from the 1940s through the home’s closing provided information on the former institution located at Tacoma.
Epworth Performance Features The Tumbleweed Band
The Tumbleweed Band will perform at the Epworth Park Auditorium in Bethesda from 2-4 p.m., on Saturday, August 22. All are welcome to attend the free event.
Canceled – Fun Day Set for Belmont County Mansion Museum
The Belmont County Mansion Museum, 532 N. Chestnut Street, will host a “Fun Day on the Lawn” beginning at 12:30 to 4 p.m., Sunday, August 16.
