Barnesville Leaf Collection Underway
Barnesville’s Public Works Department launched its annual leaf collection on October 21 and will continue through December 16. Residents are asked to leave their bagged leaves curbside in paper biodegradable compostable bags. Plastic bags will not be accepted, and the bags must contain leaves only.
There will be no set schedule for pickups, as collection will occur as time allows. Additionally, the village reminds residents that there is no longer a leaf drop-off point at the Depot. Any dumping in that area will be considered a violation.
