Barnesville Gains Rescue Boat

Thanks to a private grant from TC Energy for $24,000, Barnesville Fire and EMS purchased a new rescue boat. Gathering to mark the occasion at the fire station were, l-r, Harvey Giffin, assistant chief, Tim Hall, chief, Jud Shreves and Robert Reed, TC Energy representatives.
TC Energy is one of North America’s leading energy infrastructure companies with operations in natural gas, oil and power industries. For more than 70 years, TC Energy has been safely operating pipelines, storage facilities and power-generation plants in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. The Houston-Texas-based company operates more than 57,900 miles of natural gas pipelines and 3,000 miles of liquids (crude oil) pipelines transporting energy.
In other department news, Hall and Giffin congratulate EMS members Shawna Arick and Billie Ripley upon passing the National Registry exam and becoming Barnesville’s newest Paramedics.
