Chestnut Lanes Pizza Update
As the weekend approached, Chestnut Lanes owner A.J. Corder reported there remained 41 pizzas available for claiming along with three speaghetti diner tickets supporting the American Legion Riders Post #168. To date over 150 pizzas have been claimed.
“Stop in and grab a ticket off the door,” Corder said.
Love’s Opening Delayed
Officials of Love’s Travel Shop and Country Store announced this week the anticipated January 31 opening of their new location on SR 149 and I-70 south of Morristown is now pushed back until later in the year due to construction delays. A new proposed opening date was not shared.
February Chamber Meeting Set

The February membership meeting of the Barnesville Area Chamber of Commerce will take place Wednesday, February 12 at 12:00 Noon at the New Life Center, 219 West Church Street. The meeting is sponsored by Northwest Title .

Barnesville Pharmacist Remembered
Barnesville pharmacist Chip Terrett shared memories of the passing this week of former business partner Ray Ryman.
“I first met Ray in the summer of 1986. He called me to inquire about hiring my wife Sue to be a pharmacist at Dorsey Pharmacy in Woodsfield. Over the next seven years Ray and I became good friends. In January 1994 we began our partnership in Christian Pharmacy, Inc. (Ryman & Terrett Pharmacy) and bought Finnical Drugs from Bill Finnical”.
The business partnership ended in 2008 when Ryman exited the business working in recent years at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville.
