Chamber Meeting Well Attended
The monthly Barnesville Chamber of Commerce meeting took place at the New Life Center Wednesday at noon. The sponsor for the luncheon meeting was Northwest Title. Jessica Perkins and Cory Delguzzo shared information about the company with the 39 individuals attending the meeting.
In addition to the upcoming spring banquet, President John Rataiczak said the deadline for submitting names for the Citizen of the Year is Tuesday, April 1.

Devin Blair, high school music and theater instructor, shared information on the upcoming spring musical. See related promotion under “Schools” while Superintendent Micah Fuchs said the students’ Spring Clean Up day will be Monday, May 5 with a rain date of May 12.
Several individuals representing member businesses spoke at the meeting. Also sharing news were representatives from the offices of Senator Moreno and US Representative Rulli and Belmont County Port Authority Director Larry Merry.

The next meeting will take place on Wednesday, March 12 at WVU Medicine Barnesville Hospital with the hospital as the host and sponsor.
