This post card was sent from Barnesville and postmarked July 6, 1913, during the early years of the auto age. The card’s message addressed to “Sis” said, “Am still in Barnesville. Went to the church to see Maggie married this morning. Will not get out to the dance tonight because there is now way to get out there. Am having a big time. Yours, Augusta.”
