Barnesville Area News Hardcopy at Library

For family and friends who do not use computers, tablets or phones, the Barnesville Hutton Memorial Library prints hard copies of the news weekly. Find hard copies in the periodical section and genealogy room. 

Toddler Time and Story Time March 24 and March 27

Beginning the week of March 3, two popular library youth sessions return for the spring months.

Storytime takes place Mondays at 1:00 and 6:00 for children aged 3-5 years old.   

Toddlertime sessions are scheduled for Thursdays at 1:30, 5:00 and 6:00 for youngsters ages 1-2 who are accompanied by an adult.

Barnesville Library Adult Cookbook Club – April 8

The theme of the next Adult Cookbook Club is “Brunch”. The last session of the series will take place at the Library Annex, Tuesday, April 8 at 6:30. Registration is required. Stop by the circulation desk or call (740) 425-1651 to sign up.   

Bethesda Public Library

Toddler Tales – March 24

Toddler Tales takes place at the Bethesda Public Library on Mondays at 11:00. The program runs from January 6 through April 21. The program is open to youngsters ages 6-24 months. 

1000 Chapters Challenge

The 1000 Chapters Challenge for School Aged Readers is a new program at Bethesda Public Library that aims to get kids reading! Receive a prize for every 100 chapters read until the final prize at 1000 chapters! Stop in or call (740) 484-4532 for more information.

Home School Huddle – March 25

Join fellow homeschool families for stories, games, and more every Tuesday at 11:00. No registration necessary. Free and open to the public. Call (740) 484-4532 for more information. The winter program runs from January 7 through April 22.

The Friday, March 14, Storytime with Miss Baylee was all about farms with all the children getting  to make a fluffy sheep craft.  

Novel Bunch Book Club – April 14

A Novel Bunch Book Club will discuss “As Bright as Heaven” by Susan Meissner at 6:00 on Monday, April 14th. Call (740) 484-4532 for more information or to request a copy.
