Barnesville Area News Annual Meeting – April 7

The first annual meeting of the Board of Trustees for the Barnesville Area News Company will take place Monday, April 7 at 5:30 pm at the Barnesville Library Annex. An election of officers and trustees for the coming year will take place.

Following the annual meeting session, the group will hold their regular monthly meeting.

The public is invited and individuals who are interested in volunteering for the project are invited to attend and take part.  Please address questions by email to news@barnesvillenews.org

Barnesville Area News welcomes the opinions of our readers in the form of letters to the editor, as long as the submissions are not in bad taste and refrain from attacking individuals.

Letters should be original and typewritten. Letters should not exceed 300 words. Letters exceeding this length could be subject to editing and may not be published in their entirety. 

Barnesville Area News reserves the right to end debate on a topic after both sides have had an ample chance to express their views and reserves the right to edit or refuse letters.

All columns and letters on the opinion page are the views of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of Barnesville Area News.

Barnesville Area News is growing. We are currently looking for individuals who can assist in covering local school sports, human interest features and covering and writing up public meetings.

Compensation for the part-time work is negotiable. Volunteer contributions are also welcome and appreciated!
