Beulah “Bunny” Isabell Watson

Beulah “Bunny” Isabell Watson, 87, of Cambridge, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at Emerald Pointe in Barnesville.

She was born November 16, 1937, in Byesville, daughter of the late Herbert William Lowry and Rebecca Faye (Ogle) Lowry.

Mrs. Watson had been a factory worker.  She worked for ten years at Westinghouse, five years at Millerholzwarth, and three years at Arrow LDM.

She was a member of the Kipling VFW Auxiliary # 7371.  She enjoyed listening to bluegrass music and fishing.  She cherished spending time with her family.

Mrs. Watson was a member of the Free Methodist Church on Madison Avenue.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Watson, who died in January of 1982.  They were married May 29, 1954.  Also deceased are three brothers, Fred, Herbert and Hubert; one half-brother, Willie; five sisters, Delores Wilson, Eleanor Sigman, Phyllis Allender, Dorothy Goff, and Donna Liptak; a son, Carl Watson; a grandson, Josh Watson; a granddaughter, Carla Wise; and a great-great grandson, Jonah.

She is survived by six daughters, Virginia “Jenny” (& Mike) McGlumphy of Cambridge, Karen (& Paul) Clark of Barnesville, Carla (Brett) Giesey of Quaker City, Kathy Watson (Roy) of Cambridge, Jodi (& Kenneth) Drennon of Lexington SC, and Shelly Carpenter (Mark) of Cambridge; a daughter-in-law, Lisa Watson of Jamestown; fourteen grandchildren; thirty-two great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. 

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Thorn Black Funeral Home in Cambridge from 11AM-1PM with the service to immediately follow with Pastor Kris Bright officiating.  Burial will follow at Old Washington Cemetery.
